Who Should Attend
This class is intended for students who are familiar with the basics of InDesign and who need to maintain a consistent brand. You don’t have be a designer, however, to learn how to save time and make your documents look professional.
The goal of this course is to save students a great deal of time in formatting their documents. Students will learn what styles are, as well as how to create, modify, and reuse them. By the end of this course, you will be able to quickly format entire documents using custom styles for both text and objects.

- Creating Styles: Learn what styles are, how to create them from scratch and from an example, and how to automatically apply them to text.
- Working with Styles: Learn how to apply different types of styles, how to edit and redefine them, and how to organize them into groups for easy access.
- Using Advanced Style Techniques: Learn how to insert and edit drop caps and how to create nested styles.
- Beyond the Basics: Text Styles: Learn how to import style sheets from existing documents, and how to control links to styles.
